Extra Schoolwork in the Summer - a Teenager's Honest Opinion

I feel that extra school work spoils our summer break. We do enough work during our school year. When we are given a break from school we are given a time to relax and get away from all the work. Most kids don't want summer to end because they have to go back to school. They won't be so happy if they find out they are doing more schoolwork during their summer break. Summer break is a time to relax have fun, and enjoy a long time without school.

Editor's Thoughts

Best of the Worst

This July, the HFHS basketball teams participated in a couple of weekend tournaments. The JV's played on July 11 and 12, and Varsity played on July 25 and 26. Both won the Bronze championship prompting one of my players to joke that we are the best of the worst.
